This is it... Burny (Bunny logo) LC-70RR ... a Les Paul Custom “RR” , (Randy Rhoads) model.

Yep, its rare, and it's an amazing find in this great playing condition.
Everything works, neck straight, action low, "feel" is great, and sounds incredible.

Hard to find a Burny RR, and this one is a great find. Most Burny RRs we come across are thrashed from lack of care, decades of play and heavy use.  This one survived, yes played obviously, but was cared for properly.  It is in very good condition and plays excellent.

Burny RR Les Pauls:

Burny Les Paul models already have a cult following.  Excellent craftsmanship and are time-proven to be top of the top desired LPs.  The Burny Randy Rhoads model was a short run very custom model produced by Burny in Japan.

How did this model appear and become such perfection?  In the early 80's Burny executives were given permission by Delores Rhoads to visit the Rhoads family estate. There they closely examined and recorded all the details of Randy's legendary guitar, they returned to Japan and the luthiers recreated every little detail from the gold Schaller style tuners ... to the gold metal pickup selector ring/switch tip ... to the exact weight (4.5 KG) and original yellow faded alpine white finish.

The Burny LC-70RR was exclusively made for the Japanese market (for a very short period). This LC-70RR can be dated back to late 1983 (December ‘83 to be precise, based on the matching potentiometer codes)

Thanks to its big solid mahogany body/neck, rosewood fretboard, carved maple top, and the original style pickups it can shift from searing, snappy treble in the bridge position to a balanced, clear, and rich neck pickup. It delivers sweet top end, midrange detail, and great clarity.

Obviously, this Burny was a “player” but cared for.  Has a few minor dings and scratches (see pics) but nothing of consequence to play or sound.  The neck has one slight dent, doesn't really catch attention during play.  The top has one watch scratch (surface only) see pic. All the gold hardware has aged nicely to a nickel patina as pictured.

An incredible instrument all around.
