Vintage Yamaha SA-700 Super Axe, Made in Japan. Circa 1980's in gorgeous deep Cherry.

This SA-700 is in amazing condition, both cosmetic, playability and hardware status.   Not surprising as the SA-700 models are revered for their high-quality construction and lovely tone. this was Yamaha's version of the Gibson 335, and has a center block throughout the body that sustains the attack and produces a warm and beefy sound.

It has two chrome-covered PAF-style humbuckers the produce a lovely warm tone. It has a maple body, with a maple center block and mahogany neck.  Rosewood fretboard, and golden controls.

Overall this guitar is beautiful and presents great - very minor wear.

The HH is of 2 x A-III (AlNiCo-III) magnets pickups with a magnetic field strength that generates a soft attack and a warm vintage tone. String pull from the pickup is lower as well, hence there are more string vibrations for more sustain in highs and lows while limiting mid-range tones.
Neck Straight, Rod turns, Setup low, everything works!
